About the Show
Twelve People is an improv troupe. The best one? Maybe. The most chaotic? Certainly. We're based in London, UK. Most of us aren't afraid of flying.
Twelve People performs a fully improvised show where a rotating cast of 12 top-tier improvisers mine each other for bold opinions, then spin those ideas into fast, playful, character-driven scenes. It’s high-energy, smart, and just the right amount of unhinged.
We kick things off with rapid-fire, open-ended questions inspired by an audience suggestion—quick answers, hot takes, and plenty of fuel for the scenes that follow. Our format blends elements of the Armando and the Harold, weaving together sharp premise pulls, grounded character work, and dynamic tag runs.
Our cast is STACKED, as the kids say.
We’ve performed at top venues, festivals, and with acclaimed teams across the UK, Europe, and the US, including The Free Association, Hoopla, Edinburgh Fringe, Renegade Saints, Women in Comedy Festival, Washington Improv Theater, Running A-Mock, and Bristol Improv.
We’ve trained with masters like TJ & Dave, Chris Gau, Will Hines, David Elms, and Laura Riseborough. We are comedy nerds. We are your new best friends (or at least we like to think so).
Because you deserve it. Also, we like making each other laugh, and we think you will too.
Fred and Clay, on the heels of an unsuccessful Free Association Harold audition, decided to take matters into their own hands.
We built this show to be quick, sharp, and full of joyful mayhem. We don’t just follow the fun—we chase it down, tackle it, and wrestle it into a scene.
If you like improv that’s fast, fearless, and always in motion, this is the show for you.
We’ve performed at Hoopla, The Glitch, Blanche, Stage Time, and more, and we always bring a crowd of friendly faces.
Keep an eye on our Instagram for upcoming shows, or just follow the sound of laughter and screaming (the good kind).
